The body of the V3 is made with Indonesian mahogany which is known for its warm, clear, full tone. The neck is made from Canadian hard maple for a premium look and feel.

The V3 is coated with the highest quality paint also used in the V7 and M7 series. This gives the V3 a more elegant look compared to other introductory basses applied with cheap paint.
