With its highly precise element and sophisticated shape, the microphone is the perfect size for easy cupping and handling. It responds immediately to your hand technique and your musical expression. Additionally, the Harp Blaster HB52 was designed with input from professional harmonica players to ensure it is comfortable to hold and use. The high output level and high impedance will drive your amplifier well without the need for a DI, impedance converters, boost pedals or stomp boxes. In addition to its convenient dimensions, the Harp Blaster's flat and sleek grille ensures a perfect fit and enables powerful hand effects.

The Harp Blaster HB52 is a serious modern microphone with the highest quality components. It is made entirely by hand from metal and has a thick die-cast body with zinc alloy parts and chrome details. Not only can it withstand the uniquely harsh conditions a harmonica microphone can face every night; it will do this while allowing a much better response compared to other harmonica microphones.

The microphone has a volume control that uses a Bourns® potentiometer and a diamond-pattern knurled chrome knob, making it slip-resistant and reliable. If you prefer no volume control, it can be disabled internally.

We chose to use an XLR connection instead of a connected cable, a 6.35mm jack connection or a screw-on connector. This is often the Achilles heel with harmonica microphones. A connected cable can easily suffer a broken solder joint, turning the microphone into a paperweight until it can be repaired. An XLR connection offers better connectivity, which does not become problematic or noisy (cracking and/or hissing) over time. The internal locking mechanism adds extra signal security - in case the cable is pulled, snagged or stepped on, for example. However, the HB52's XLR connector's locking mechanism can also be easily disabled, if that's your preference.
