Because the demand for a 7-string baritone guitar is particularly high among fans of the solid bodies from the RG series, Ibanez comes with this Japanese RG2027XL with its very comfortable Prestige treated 24 jumbo frets. The 27 inch scale length gives the strings a tighter tension than normal. This makes tight riffs and razor-sharp solos possible.

This contemporary quality guitar also has an extremely stable neck, which is made of 5 parts of maple and wenge. This guitar neck is also completed with a fingerboard made of dark, eye-catching macassar ebony, which also features subtle offset dots.

RG2027XL: loud, clear and stable. This neck is attached to a basswood RG body via a screw connection. First of all, this ensures that the overall weight of this robust electric Ibanez guitar remains within limits. Secondly, this ensures that the basic sound has a nice full mid-range character. To amplify the sound of the RG2027XL loud and clear, 2 DiMarzio humbuckers of the Fusion Edge 7 type were chosen.
