Unlike standard ukuleles, bass ukuleles are not equipped with thin nylon strings, but with thick and elastic polyurethane strings. This gives it a deep double bass sound, making it an alternative to bass guitars.

Sound

The body of the CASCHA Bass Ukulele is made entirely of laminated mahogany wood. This gives it a warm and full sound. The neck is made of okoumé, the fingerboard is made of blackwood. The Aquila Thundergut strings provide enormous low pressure. They convince with a pleasant playing feel and a double bass-like, striking response.

Comfort

Bass ukuleles are played in the EADG tuning (the typical electric bass tuning). The CASCHA bass ukulele can be played without a plug for practice. With the built-in 3-band equalizer you can adjust the voluminous bass sound to your own taste. The two built-in strap pins allow the attachment of ukulele straps. This increases comfort while playing.
