The Richwood Master Series open back banjo is particularly suited to the clawhammer style of playing. Open back banjos are widely used in the Americana music style. The sound is softer/warmer than that of a banjo with resonator. Like all Master Series banjos, the RMB-405 is a very stable instrument with 24 brackets, quality woods and parts.
